Back-to-Back Split Systems

A back-to-back split system represents the most efficient and cost-effective air conditioning solution, featuring a wall-mounted indoor unit with the outdoor unit positioned directly opposite on the exterior side of the same wall. This streamlined installation minimises refrigerant line runs and reduces installation complexity, making it ideal for targeted heating or cooling of individual rooms or specific areas. The system delivers precise, reliable temperature control whilst maintaining an unobtrusive aesthetic that complements your home's design.

How It Works

1

System Components

The system has two main parts: an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, connected by pipes that carry refrigerant.

2

Cooling Mode

  • The indoor unit absorbs heat from the room’s air.
  • The refrigerant transfers this heat to the outdoor unit.
  • The outdoor unit releases the heat into the outside air.
3

Air Distribution

  • The outdoor unit absorbs heat from the outside air, even in cold conditions.
  • The refrigerant carries this heat to the indoor unit.
  • The indoor unit releases the heat into the room.
4

Continuous Comfort

This cycle automatically adjusts to maintain the set indoor temperature.
