Our team holds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning licences, Electrical A-Grade or Restricted licences, and Plumbing registrations where required, ensuring every system is installed to strict Australian Standards. All technicians are trained in VBA, ESV and VEU/VEEC compliance, including safe handling of R32 refrigerant, leak detection procedures, correct duct design, zoning installation, and manufacturer-approved commissioning. We work exclusively with tradespeople who have demonstrated years of hands-on experience, a commitment to clean workmanship, and ongoing training in the latest technologies such as AirTouch 5 zoning, energy-efficient heat pumps, and modern inverter systems. What brands do you install?
At Kingdom Climate Solutions, we only work with trusted, premium and proven brands that deliver long-term reliability, strong warranties, and excellent performance in Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victorian conditions. Our most commonly installed systems include:
- Rinnai – Our go-to for premium reverse-cycle ducted systems, split systems and energy-efficient solutions.
- Hisense – High-performance ducted and multi-head systems with advanced NanoTech filtration and 7-year warranty.
- Daikin – Industry-leading comfort, exceptional airflow control and outstanding reliability.

- Midea – Reliable and cost-effective options for budget-friendly installations.
- Emerald & Aquatech Heat Pumps – High-efficiency hot water heat pumps approved for Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victorian rebates.
- AirTouch 5 – Our premium zoning and smart-home control solution for ducted systems.
We carefully select brands that offer strong manufacturer warranties, proven performance, and full compliance with VEU, VBA and Australian Standards, ensuring your system is built to last.
How often should I get my unit serviced?
For the best performance, efficiency, and lifespan of your heating and cooling system, we recommend a professional service every 12–18 months. Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victorian homes experience heavy seasonal use – strong heating in winter and cooling in summer – which means filters, coils, motors and ductwork can build up dust and wear faster than expected. Regular servicing ensures your system keeps running quietly, efficiently and safely, while also protecting your manufacturer warranty. If your home has pets, high usage, or allergy sensitivities, a 12-month service cycle is ideal. Staying ahead of maintenance not only keeps your home comfortable all year round, but also prevents small issues from becoming expensive repairs.
Do you offer free on-site assessments?
Yes – after an initial phone consultation, we offer free on-site assessments to ensure your home is sized correctly and the system design is perfect for comfort, airflow and energy efficiency.
Are your installations covered by warranty?
Absolutely. All systems come with manufacturer warranties (5–7 years depending on brand) and we provide a 5-year workmanship guarantee for your peace of mind. Your installation is protected from both ends.
Do your systems qualify for rebates?
Many of our installations are eligible for VEU, VEEC or Solar Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victoria Hot Water rebates, depending on your home and the system selected. Our compliance team handles all the paperwork for you.
Can I finance my installation?
Yes. We offer flexible payment options, including interest-free finance (subject to approval), making premium systems more accessible for families.
Ducted Reverse Cycle System
What is a reverse cycle ducted system?
It’s a whole-home heating and cooling solution in one. A reverse cycle ducted system uses discreet ducts in your ceiling or floor to deliver perfectly conditioned air throughout your home, powered by a single efficient outdoor unit. Think of it like gas ducted heating, but smarter: it heats and cools all year round.
Are ducted systems energy efficient?
Absolutely. Modern reverse cycle systems use inverter technology that adjusts output to meet the exact temperature you need — no more overworking or energy waste. And when paired with solar, running costs can be impressively low.
Is it noisy? Will I hear the system running all day?
Not at all. These systems are designed for luxury living, whisper-quiet indoors and nearly silent outside. You’ll enjoy consistent comfort without the hum and buzz of older systems.
What’s the difference between a split system and ducted heating?
Split systems heat or cool individual rooms, while ducted systems manage your whole home through concealed ducts. Ducted is perfect for families who want one seamless solution with no wall units in sight.
What’s a heat pump, and how does it fit in?
Heat pumps are the technology behind reverse cycle systems. They work by transferring heat rather than generating it, making them incredibly efficient. In winter, they extract heat from the outside air to warm your home — even when it’s cold out.
How long does installation take?
For most homes, a reverse cycle ducted installation takes 1–2 days. We handle everything with minimal disruption — and leave your home spotless. We schedule around your needs for a smooth experience from start to finish.
How do I choose the right size system?
That’s where we shine. Our team assesses your home’s layout, insulation, room usage, and orientation to tailor a system that’s perfect, not too big and not too small. We design for balance, comfort, and efficiency.
Hot Water System FAQ's
What type of hot water systems do you install?
We install heat pump hot water systems, electric storage units, and gas hot water systems. Our most recommended systems are high-efficiency heat pumps such as Emerald and Aquatech, which offer lower running costs and are eligible for Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victorian rebates.
Do hot water heat pumps qualify for rebates?
Yes, most heat pump systems qualify for Solar Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victoria rebates and VEEC incentives, significantly reducing your installation cost. Our compliance team handles all paperwork, photos, and submissions so you don’t have to do anything.
How long does installation take?
Most hot water installations are completed within 2–3 hours. If we’re replacing an old gas system or upgrading electrical components, it may take a little longer, but everything is completed the same day.
How often should I service my hot water system?
Heat pump and gas units should be serviced every 1–2 years to ensure efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability. Regular maintenance also protects your warranty and prevents costly breakdowns.
How long do hot water systems last?
- Heat pumps: 10–15+ years
- Gas hot water units: 8–12 years
- Electric storage: 8–10 years
Choosing a quality brand and doing regular maintenance extends lifespan significantly.
Can you remove my old hot water system?
Yes, we remove and dispose of old systems at no extra charge, and complete any required compliance documentation for rebate eligibility.

Rebates FAQ's
What rebates am I eligible for?
Rebate eligibility depends on:
- Your postcode

- Your current system (gas/electric)
- Your switchboard setup
- Household income (Solar Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victoria hot water only)
Most homes qualify for VEU/VEEC rebates, and many qualify for Solar Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victoria hot water as well.
What are VEECs / VEU rebates?
VEECs (Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates) are part of the Ballarat, Geelong and Central Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.
They provide rebates for energy-efficient heating, cooling and hot water systems.
Kingdom Climate Solutions is a participating installer, meaning you can claim these rebates instantly at installation.
Do I need to apply for rebates myself?
No, we handle everything for you.
Our compliance team takes care of:

- Decommissioning requirements
- Submission to VEU or Solar Victoria
You don’t need to fill out anything except a quick customer approval form.

Yes, for VEU and Solar Victoria, we must take specific:
- Decommission photos
- Serial number photos
- Proof of safe removal
- Switchboard photos (for heat pumps and ducted systems)
This is required for compliance and ensures your rebate is paid.
What if my switchboard is outdated?
Some older switchboards may require upgrades to qualify for certain rebates (especially heat pumps).
If needed, we’ll advise you upfront and organise the upgrade.
Do rebates change over time?
Yes, rebate values can go up or down weekly based on the VEEC market.
We always lock in the current value at the time of your installation.
